Darwin's theory on evolution changed the world's perspective to most people. In Charles Darwin's day he had received a lot of criticism of thinking that the earth wasn't created by a higher human being. The People in Darwin's day was very religious and was pretty upset to hear about his theory on evolution. Darwin's theory was the animal with the "better fit" will succeed and reproduce a lot more than those who aren't a "better fit." By the words "better fit" he meant those organism who can adapt to the changed climate or the random outcome from genetic flow that can find resources a lot faster and reproduce more will have a better chance on giving off their good genes to future generations. Later on in the years the organism that were able to adapt with the environment faster and reproduce more will have greater population and changing the animals population in that particular area. Darwin also thought the species of bird or animals all same from the same ancestor but they all changed due to what climate they were living in. For example Darwin looked at the Finches on the Galapagos island and each finch had a different beak depending on what they ate and different colors depending on where they lived, but all finches had looked similar in some way that had brought Darwin to think all the finches on Galapagos island came from the same ancestor. Since the climate is changing in the area the finches that adapt to that area a lot better got a better chance on surviving. The finch that was able to adapt faster and reproduce more will give it's genes that helped survive and adapt faster to the environment to the future generation. This results in a new generation of finches of a new species. Darwin had named this process natural selection, ever since Darwin's theory on evolution we are one step closer on declaring evolution as a fact.
